CAD Specialist - Motor Centre

Are you interested in car development and are you tempted to be among the first to see a new model? Do you know how to use programs like CATIA, but want to get hands-on with your work in addition to sitting at a computer? Your job will be to make sure all the parts fit the engine as they should. A colleague who has worked in this position will be on hand to teach you everything you need to know.

What you're gonna do:

  • Check the installation of electronic sensors and actuators in the engine.
  • Using the model in CATIA, you will try to avoid collision of individual components
  • Communicate with engineers and mechanics
  • Check collisions physically on the shop floor every day
  • You will be involved in recording changes to individual parts
  • Manage design data and technical documentation.
  • You'll go abroad several times a year for exams.

What you're gonna use:

  • CATIA, Creo
  • Connect, Tirex, Avon, Easy4Q, INCA
  • MS Office, email and telephone
  • You will use foreign languages - English  

What we need:

  • High school/university/technical university
  • User knowledge of CAD - ideally CATIA
  • Do you like cars/motors
  • You're not just a "clicker", you want to see the workshop
  • You can get the information and pass it on
  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanics an advantage (especially knowledge of engine and chassis components)

We are currently building a storage system from second-life batteries for a client.We are delivering it turnkey, including the software.

1. Get in touch with the developers, get to know the mechanical part and find out what we need to control, what parameters to monitor or what to display on the UI screen

2. Design the application from A to Z, including security notifications,error conditions...

3. Program the application and be with the project from start to handover.You will participate in testing and client meetings. The application will literally be "your baby".
