Engine Climate Test Specialist

Every car must be thoroughly tested in the most extreme conditions. Fortunately, we don't have to drive it into the mountains and over the Arctic Circle, but we can simulate conditions like speed, wind and altitude in a climate chamber. In terms of engine testing, this will be a completely unique facility, covering areas ranging from PLCs and mechanics to sensors. You will be tasked with setting everything up together with an experienced colleague and then organising and carrying out the actual tests yourself according to the customer's specifications. After some time we expect you to move to a senior position.

What will you be in charge of?

Launching the chamber together with a senior colleague
Transfer of experience from other test facilities (especially experience from Audi)
Preparation of cars for tests (changing, cleaning, transport of cars) - cooperation with mechanic
Operation of the climate chamber, its preparation and setting of parameters according to customer requirements
Test planning and execution
Communication with customers, suppliers

What is the ideal candidate?

A teaching certificate/electrical engineering degree is a prerequisite
Professional competence in electrical engineering §6 (or the possibility of obtaining it)
Positive attitude towards cars and interest in their development
English at least A2
Interest in industrial automation
Experience with component testing an advantage
