Junior Electrical Designer

Do you have a background in electrical engineering and are you interested in helping to develop the technologies of the future? Do you want to be involved in projects from the initial design through to implementation, and gradually learn how to use EPLAN from experienced colleagues? Join DEVINN and become part of the team behind the development of technologies for battery storage, hydrogen applications, and electromobility. What are you gonna do?

  • You’ll be part of the entire project lifecycle—from designing the documentation to the final installation of the equipment.

    Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Create electrical documentation in EPLAN (power and control circuits, and to some extent fluid systems)
  • Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) for ordering components
  • Collaborate with the design, manufacturing, and shop floor teams
  • If necessary, you will provide support with setup, commissioning, and diagnostics
  • Gradually become involved in the design of technical solutions and the selection of components

What do we expect from you?

  • High school or college degree in electrical engineering or a technical field
  • Electrical engineering qualification pursuant to Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll. (at least an electrical engineer as defined in § 6)
  • Ability to understand technical documentation
  • English at a level sufficient to understand technical documents
  • Class B Driver's License
  • A desire to grow in the field of electrical design

It would be an advantage if you have

  • Experience with EPLAN or other CAE software
  • Experience in the field of industrial automation, switchgear manufacturing, or electrical installation
  • Awareness of ČSN EN Standards
  • Experience with wiring electrical equipment

We are currently building a storage system from second-life batteries for a client.We are delivering it turnkey, including the software.

1. Get in touch with the developers, get to know the mechanical part and find out what we need to control, what parameters to monitor or what to display on the UI screen

2. Design the application from A to Z, including security notifications,error conditions...

3. Program the application and be with the project from start to handover.You will participate in testing and client meetings. The application will literally be "your baby".
