Why did we choose Devinn?
In addition to its activities in the field of product development in the automotive sector, in which it focuses primarily on electric vehicles, Devinn, based in Jablonec nad Nisou and developing in Mladá Boleslav, has also begun to focus on hydrogen technologies.
The team around the founders Vera and Lubos Hajský is primarily concerned with the use of hydrogen as an energy carrier, thanks to which energy can be brought to places where there are no cables, no sun shining, no wind blowing and no rivers flowing.
For this purpose, the company has developed a special prototype of the H2 Base hydrogen generator. This year, for the second time, it was used at the Rock for People festival, where the pure power of hydrogen was able to power the operation of one of the stages, where musician Vladimir 518, for example, performed in an unconventional speaking position.
The plan is to continue to test the technology, which is still in the prototype phase, at festivals and other events across Europe. However, Devinn plans to bring the generator to the market in the near future in several performance variants.
However, H2Base is not the company's only initiative in the field of hydrogen technology. Devinn, founded in 2014, is one of the companies helping the Tatra automaker to develop a hydrogen-powered truck. The company's latest projects include a unique, remotely controlled H2BOT truck that can charge parked electric vehicles with energy from a hydrogen cell.
Devinn is thus opening up the Czech Republic to a technology that could in the future carry on its shoulders the energy revolution unleashed not only in the transport sector, but also in other areas where hydrogen will make sense.
