Jablonec company DEVINN has developed a mobile source of electricity based on a fuel cell powered by hydrogen. Projects that rely on the hydrogen future are increasing in the Czech Republic.
However, the interest in technology is also evidencedby the activities of smaller companies, such as DEVINN, which is currently engaged in development for the automotive industry. The company from Jablonec nad Nisou has developed a mobile source of electricity based on a fuel cell powered by hydrogen. The device, called H2BASE, is the size of one pallet and can replace diesel generators, making it suitable for organizers of music festivals or sporting events. But it can also be used as a temporary charger for electric vehicles in places where the construction of a stationary charger is still planned.

"Other possible applications for our hydrogen system are solutions for emission-free zones, the construction industry or as a backup power supply for data centres. The great advantage of hydrogen is that it is environmentally friendly and quiet, so it does not disturb its surroundings with unpleasant smoke and noise. Our system also has no hazardous waste products. The output is clean water," says DEVINN's head of development Karel Souček....
