IT Analyst/IoT Systems Developer

Create a bridge between devices and the cloud – from scratch to production We are looking for a colleague who will design and create a complete solution for remote access to data from industrial devices in the energy sector. You will handle the entire data path from the Windows application at the customer's site to the web interface in the cloud. You start the project from a clean slate – no legacy code, you can choose a modern tech stack and architectural solution. This is a time-limited project suitable for a freelancer.

What will you be doing here?

Design and implementation of IoT-cloud solutions

  • Architecture: You will design a system from scratch – you will choose the appropriate tech stack and cloud services
  • Windows application: C#/.NET or Python for communication with sensors and measuring instruments
  • Cloud & Backend: AWS/Azure/GCP + database (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, MongoDB) + API (REST/GraphQL)
  • Frontend: Modern JS framework (React, Vue, Angular) for dashboards and data visualization
  • DevOps: Docker, CI/CD pipeline, monitoring and scaling for dozens of connected devices
  • Security: End-to-end encryption, VPN tunnels, authentication and authorization

What do we expect from you?

Technical knowledge

  • Backend/Systems: C#/.NET, Python or Node.js + knowledge of databases and cloud platforms
  • Frontend: Experience with modern JS frameworks and data visualizations
  • Infrastructure: Docker, API design, network protocols and security best practices
  • Bonus points: Experience with IoT, real-time data streaming, time-series databases

 Other requirements

  • Ability to design and defend a technical solution (architecture ownership)
  • Independence and experimental approach – we build it from the ground up
  • Flexibility – home office + occasional trips for hardware setup

We are currently building a storage system from second-life batteries for a client.We are delivering it turnkey, including the software.

1. Get in touch with the developers, get to know the mechanical part and find out what we need to control, what parameters to monitor or what to display on the UI screen

2. Design the application from A to Z, including security notifications,error conditions...

3. Program the application and be with the project from start to handover.You will participate in testing and client meetings. The application will literally be "your baby".
