IT Specialist with JIRA

Scheduling the production of a car in a line is a rather complex problem. The whole process requires a lot of changes, adjustments, deadlines, documentation. One of the many tools that brings order to the whole process is JIRA. We are looking for a colleague who will collect requirements from colleagues, translate them into "Atian language" and pass JIRA to developers who will process the requirements. We are not looking for a Scrum Master or a JIRA programmer, but rather a junior IT analyst who will be the liaison between the requesters and the IT department. In addition to this, you will be responsible for managing the so-called UPS - the computers that run the car electronics on the assembly line. These need to be upgraded and updated according to evolving technology.

What are you gonna do?

JIRA - 40% of working capacity

Communicate daily with Quality, Production, IT colleagues

  • Collect requests from colleagues. Refine them, analyze them and forward them to JIRA developers. Most often it will be about process modeling and entering change requests.
  • After the requirement has been fulfilled, test whether it has been carried out as specified
  • Handover to colleagues

Managing computers on the line- 60% of working capacity

The lines are equipped with computers to operate the electronics on the assembly line. These computers are continuously upgraded, replaced and the software is changed twice a year. The production is both in MB and Kvasiny.

  • You'll be coordinating the entire change
  • Negotiate changes with supplier, arrange installations, testing
  • Personally supervise the implementation of changes - this means about once every 3 weeks to go to the race in Kvasiny.

What are you gonna use?

  • JIRA
  • Phone and email
  • Office 365

What do we need?

  • You got a min. High school degree in IT or relevant experience
  • User knowledge of Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)- you do NOT program, but you know how to navigate in the environment
  • Knowledge of Office 365 products - e.g. Sharepoint - access, automation, shredding timescales etc.
  • You excel in communication, you can listen, connect the worlds of IT and business
  • Analytical thinking, systematic approach
  • You can easily communicate in English at least at B1 level - most of the communication is written, but sometimes it is necessary to call somewhere

What do we offer?

  • Work in a department where a friendly atmosphere is not a cliché. For example, they have their own band, so if you play something, that's a plus (mostly missing a singer and a drummer 😊)
  • A boss who supports you and colleagues you can learn from
  • Experience how to connect the business and IT worlds
  • Share of innovation in the production of the latest car models
