Radio Systems Development Specialist

Your task will be to provide the supplier with a technical specification for the development of radio infotainment functions. You will coordinate its activities, analyze the results of the first samples in order to bring the radio functions to a state where it is usable for production cars. Throughout the development process, you will be the one accompanying the "radio", including all the birth pains that may be associated with it. For the series, you will then deal with the analysis of the various bugs and their corrections.

What will you be in charge of?

- Creating radio specifications and concepts in collaboration with colleagues and supplier.

- With different teams you will define the interface of the whole radio system

- For radio functions you will be the contact person for all important colleagues from both VW and Škoda Auto

- You will have a lot of coordination and communication tasks, where you will present and accompany the topic throughout its development.

- This includes reporting to the project manager

- Error monitoring and reporting, coordination of radio function start-up

- Very close cooperation with colleagues in Wolfsburg. More frequent business trips (approx. 10 times a year) will also be necessary.

What is the ideal candidate?

- University degree in electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on radio electronics

- Knowledge of frequency and analog modulation principles

- Signal processing experience

- Basic experience in project management of technical projects

- Knowledge of AJ - min. B2

- Driving licence sk. B

- With lots of internal VW systems

- JIRA, Confluence

- ODIS

What will your normal day look like?

Your day will be full of varied tasks, from creating specifications and coordinating with suppliers to tracking and reporting bugs. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all infotainment radio functions are working flawlessly.

1. Get in touch with the developers, get to know the mechanical part and find out what we need to control, what parameters to monitor or what to display on the UI screen

2. Design the application from A to Z, including security notifications,error conditions...

3. Program the application and be with the project from start to handover.You will participate in testing and client meetings. The application will literally be "your baby".
